pay your friends!

How annoying is it when you go out dinner, or pick up a cab, or buy a round of drinks, hoping that in the grand scheme of things it all evens out between you and your friends? Now you can be a huge stickler! I found a couple of cool online programs which allow you to enter in expenses and have them do the math for you. It still means you have to enter them in, but at least it will add for you.

The first is UK based (meaning they probably have great accents): I OWE You, which I am currently trying out, and the second is BillMonk, which I haven't tried yet.

here's a sick alternative. i was told of one person who was part of a richish crew through his girlfriend that went out to nice nice dinners. each dinner, someone would pay the whole bill. it would all even out because everyone would pay for some dinner.

anyway, he delayed and delayed it being his turn until the day it was his turn, and then broke up with his girlfriend.

awful!

but certainly works well moneywise.

um. what are you trying to say, huh? see i think the incentives are all wrong with that. if i knew someone else was paying, i would incentivized to get many bottles of good wine and lots of dessert. which is how i would be n-1/n of the times. and how the other people in the group would be, except the poor sap who had to pay for it all.

but maybe i didn't need all that wine! maybe it was a waste!
